I am a well-established and highly experienced counsellor/psychotherapist that has been working in private practice for some years.
Being BACP Accredited means that my work has been assessed by The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy as exceeding the minimum requirements required for registration. This Accreditation and assessment is renewed yearly.
In addition to this, I have undertaken extensive, advanced specialist training and qualification in working with couples. Some of my advanced specialist couples training was gained at the renowned NAOS Institute in London.
This is most important as couples’ therapy is an entirely different entity to individual counselling, requiring different skills, theoretical knowledge and techniques.
I work with couples to help them try and understand how to better manage conflict, trust, communication and the whole host of struggles that can so often face those in a close relationship.
