As couples counselling is very different to individual therapy, the first two sessions are an extended assessment.  This means the three of us have enough time to understand both partners presenting points of view, and establish if my training model of couple’s therapy will be appropriate and helpful. It is an opportunity for you to decide if you are both comfortable working with me.   

How often ?

Couples counselling sessions last one hour and take place online using Skype.  They are normally weekly and I work in blocks of 6 reserved weekly sessions.

How much does it cost ?

Couples counselling sessions are currently £75 for a one hour session.

How many sessions do I need ?

Each couple will require a different number of sessions. It all depends on the presenting issues you have and how they affect you. It is different for every couple.  I work in blocks of 6 reserved sessions.
